Start in January 2025 and Earn a Degree in Five Semesters
Admission to the 男人藏精阁School of Nursing鈥檚 Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) degree program is now open. Prospective students must apply by the October 25 deadline.
Upon completion of five semesters of nursing coursework, graduates are awarded an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing degree and are qualified to take the licensure exam (NCLEX-RN) that is required to practice as a registered nurse. A-B Tech鈥檚 two most recent graduating classes achieved a 100 percent passing rate on the NCLEX-RN exam.

A Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate is no longer required for admission to the ADN program, but successful applicants must be a high school graduate or have an Adult High School or High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma, meet the minimum standards for anatomy and physiology coursework, and achieve a passing score on the ATI TEAS Exam. The 男人藏精阁School of Nursing was dedicated in 2023 to recognize the college's legacy and leadership in nursing education for Western North Carolina since 1959. As one of the college鈥檚 oldest and largest programs, A-B Tech鈥檚 nursing programs have trained staff for hospitals and medical facilities throughout the region for decades.
