Pre-Registration Required (class size limited). All prospective students must take the TABE reading comprehension exam with results reflecting at least an 11th-grade reading level prior to successful registration into the class. In Lieu Of Tabe Testing: submit an official college transcript reflecting successful completion of a college-level English class(es).

This course will introduce the basics of the computer system, PC Windows, with attention to job seeking. Students will get hands-on experience with keyboard and mouse applications that will improve proficiency in job searching & exploration, resume production & updating, and cover letter generating & updating.
Attendees will gain knowledge of all the essential hardware components for proper use. Participants will gain experience and obtain knowledge of software programs, including Google, Microsoft Office, and internet safety and security with emphasis on password construction and password safeguarding.

The course covers the material and the required exam for becoming a notary. Upon class completion with a passing exam grade of 80%, a person is eligible to make an application with the NC Secretary of State's office.
To apply for commissioning as a notary, you must: be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the US; be able to speak, read, and write English; have a high school diploma or equivalent; and reside or have a regular place of work or business in NC. Students must present a current photo ID and have a copy of the required textbook to be admitted to class.

Prepare for the National Restaurant Association's ServSafe Manager Certification. The exam is included as part of the class. Upon completion with a passing exam grade of 75%, the student will earn this industry-recognized certification valid for 5 years. This one-day class features online testing and instant results. No book is required.

This course is designed for beginners who are new to Android smartphones or those needing a little help with understanding of Android operating systems.
This class will provide you with essential knowledge and skills on texting, emailing, applications (apps), and safety. Learn to use daily organizational features such as calendar, notes, to-do, and clock & alarm features.
This class consists of a series of interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Participants should bring their Android devices to class for practice exercises and an understanding that every device is different.

This course introduces basic information for those whose family life, travel plans, or personal interest necessitates an introduction to the Spanish language and Latinx culture. Students learn basic pronunciation, nouns, articles, subject pronouns, and simple present-tense verb conjugation. The course focuses on simple conversation with an emphasis on primary vocabulary on selected themes.
