How to Login (Student)

Your ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸óusername and password are used to log into your email account, campus computers, Moodle, WebAdvisor, and more.

Username

Unless you have been told otherwise, your ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸óusername is your first name, middle initial, and last name (with no spaces). Example: janehdoe

Email Address

Your email address is your username followed by @students.abtech.edu. Example: janehdoe@students.abtech.edu

In some cases, like logging into Outlook, you will need to log in using your email address instead of your username.

Default Password

Your default ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ópassword is your date of birth in MMDDYY format. Example: if your birthday is 10/20/1979, your default password is 102079.

Change Your Password

You should immediately change your ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ópassword from its default! There are two steps to changing your password:

  1. Enroll at Microsoft 365® by adding contact information or linking an authenticator app to your account.
  2. Change your password through Microsoft 365®.

Forgotten Password

If you have already enrolled in Microsoft 365®, you can reset your password using the site. Enter your ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸óemail address when asked for the User ID. If you are told that you cannot change your password and that you should contact your system administrator, you are not enrolled.

If you have not already enrolled in Microsoft 365®, please contact the HelpDesk.

The following information is required for all requests:

  1. ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸óUsername
  2. Student ID
  3. Date of Birth
  4. Home Address
  5. Call-Back Number
  6. List a class taken from ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ó(if any)

Do not share your ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ópassword with the HelpDesk.
