Comments:

The Surgical Technology Program at ÄÐÈ˲ؾ«¸ómeets all educational requirements for national credentialing. Surgical technology students are required to sit for the national certification exam through the National Board on Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) prior to graduation (graduation requirement). Provided the student passes the exam, they are credentialed to work anywhere in the United States. It is incumbent upon the graduate to maintain their credential through continuing education activities and renew every two years.
